My Story.

It all begins with a passion and what drives you. Since I was 4 years old i’ve been surrounded by cars and dirt bikes always helping my dad work on them by holding the flashlight and asking questions. I grew up going to as many car shows and events as a kid and his dad could go to. When I turned 14 I got my first car given to me, it didn’t run and needed some work so I proceeded to do things around the house in order to make money so I could fix it/clean it up. I immediately became addicted to working or messing around with cars it soon became my sort therapy.

When I turned 15 I got my first job as a detailer. I was cleaning cars everyday for work and I loved it. and on the weekends I would clean my neighbors and anyone that would ask. Shortly after high school I realized I wanted to go to college to become a mechanic. I attended Mchenry county college in late 2018 to get a degree in automotive tech. During my time at college I was awarded the grow-a-tech scholarship through NAPA auto parts. I also got hired by a Chrysler dealership as an apprentice before graduating college I soon was sent to school for Volkswagen, Audi, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Cummins engines. After finishing schooling and working there for 2.5 years I figured it was time to find a better paying job. I was soon hired by another service center in Gilberts, IL as a “Diesel Mechcanic” and have been trying to work my way up ever since. But when asked why I decided to create JDM WORKS it’s because “A dream means nothing if it’s left on the pillow.” -Jared Miller.
